Can I mount my gas tank below/level to my go kart engine? - atv fuel tank

I have a Honda 185 (1983) bike, and I'm going to ride behind the driver. Imagine that. I mount the tank between the driver's knees? I want to know if enough of the motor creating a vacuum to draw fuel from 3-4 meters and a foot. I really do not want to climb over the engine. Suggestions are always welcome. Anything to help (real). Thank you!
